Courtney Yasmineh has definitely taken the road less traveled. A Chicago native, she ran away to a Northern Minnesota cabin at age 17 in 1978, where she discovered the music of Bob Dylan and set her course as a songwriter. After raising her children, with eight albums and fifteen years of touring in Europe and the US to her credit, her voice keeps getting stronger, her stories more vivid, her songs more deeply touching.
