Anthony Ihrig is a banjo playing songwriter from Minneapolis who weaves together modern storytelling with wistful folk melodies and head-nodding grooves on traditional bluegrass instruments. As a solo performer and member of the award-winning bluegrass band The High 48s, Anthony is known for connecting with audiences through heart-felt songwriting, high-energy performances and spontaneous stories and observations from stage. When not performing, he spends his days doing session work and teaching banjo from his home studio in south Minneapolis and online. He is also co-host of a weekly live YouTube interview series with folk and roots musicians called Back Catalog Listening Party.
